Mary was a matriarch with an amazing ability of compassion and understanding of you and your thoughts. She was a very very wise owl and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Mary.

Mary was always a force to be reckoned with, steadfast in her opinions and unwavering in her faith; despite her own problems, she always found time for others. 'Mary's Meanderings' in the church newsletter were always a delight to read, often bringing tears of laughter. In short, Mary was, and will remain, an inspiration.

Mary was the most compassionate person I have ever known. Despite her own problems she always made time to genuinely ask how I was.
She was my Tim's first Sunday School teacher and he adored her.
I miss your laughter and robust singing.
